A Study of LIAN Zi-ning's Poetic Creation and Sources

"玉屑遗芬,金川表派。"靖难文臣练子宁著有《金川玉屑集》遗世,惜其大部分诗歌皆已散佚,后得弘治年间王佐遍访民间才幸获吉光片羽以充该集。子宁以文与节并称当时,与名士梁寅、金幼孜、方孝孺等多有来往。其诗歌在体裁上以律诗为主,题材上以即事感怀诗为最,创作风格上主要有"娟秀妍雅,清奇自然"、"率性俊逸,气格峥嵘"、"好为用典,抒情言志"与"比德论道,禅意入诗"这四大特点。此外,其诗学渊源主要生发于以下三个方面:一是顺应明初太祖以儒为尊兼容释、道的同时施行文化高压这样的一个特殊时势;二是嫡传自江右诗派而又积极入世;三是个人风骨铿然并宗唐学古。要而言之,子宁诗歌虽创作不丰却为世所宝。

LIAN Zi - ning is a famous bookman and officer. He died in the Jingnan Event, leaving to the world his work Jinchuan Yuxie Corpus. Unfortunately, most of his poems has been lost, but WANG Zuo collected part of his poems through visitingthe local populace, and put them at the corpus in the HONG ZHI years. LIAN Zi -ning was known for his literary talent and his integrity. He contactsfrequently with LIANG Yin, JIN You - zi, FANG Xiao - ru and someone else. In term of genre and the theme, he indited metrical verses and sentimental poems mainly. There are four main characteristics of his style： elegant and natural, frank andextraordinary, abundant quotes and lyrical, enjoy utilizing empathy and zen spirit to the objects and poems. And his poems wereinfluenced by three factors. On the one hand, under the dictatorship of the First - Emperor of Ming, when Confucianism was in the dominant position, Buddism and Taoism were also acceptable. On the other hand, he learned from Jiangyou School, but dedicated himself to politics actively. Besides, The inheritance of poetries in Tang Dynasty and his strength of character also have certain effect on his poetry writing. In a word, his poems is not abundant, but viewed highlyby the world.
