论吴虞的诗词学观念

A discussion on Wuyu's theory of poetry

吴虞的诗学观有四个方面:学诗既要博览众家,又要专精一二名家;作诗须有真情实感;推崇汉魏、反对江西诗派;提倡沉雄、冲淡兼济的诗风。吴虞在编选《爱智庐诗录》时,对不同社会地位的古体诗人等量齐观,遍录古体诗的不同内容题材,各种体裁兼收并蓄。于词方面,他充分肯定蜀人开宗立派之功,同时认为音律对于作词固然重要,但真正的好词须有高尚的性情和真实的才学,由此极为赞赏苏、辛之作。

Wu Yu ＇ s view of poetics has four aspects ： for learning poems, one needs both extensive read- ing of the poems of various poets, and intensive reading of the masterpieces of a couple of masters ; For composing poems, true feeling and real emotion are needed ; Praising highly the poems of the Han and Wei dynasties, opposing against the Jiangxi poetic school ; advocating both profound - vigorous and tranquil - peaceful styles. When compiling his Aizhilu Selected Poems, Wu Yu treated the poets from different social classics equally, inclusively collected poems of different themes with different styles. As to the Ci poems, he acknowl- edges the initiative contribution made by the Sichuan poets, and he considers that although the metrical rules are very important in Ci poems, the real good Ci poems are relying on the authors＇ noble character and real scholarship. As a result, he extremely appreciates the Ci poems of Su Shi and Xin Qiji.
