This article begins with the rise and spread of the living library, and analyzes the reasons why the living library is popular among the students in domestic colleges and universities. And then this paper points out the shortcomings of the actual implementation of the living library at present. And this paper expounds the attention- worthy points of the further integration of the living library in the future. Finally, the conclusion is drawn that we should give play to the important role of the living library in the reading promotion in colleges and universities and improve the utilization effect of the library collection resources.
