Discussionon on the Identification and Construction of Special Ethnic Groups

族群即是一种长期存在的文化现象,又是一种长期存在的历史现象,族群的认同与建构受到历史、文化、政治、经济、社会等多方面因素的影响。本文通过对段颖博士的《泰国北部的云南人——族群的形成、文化适应与历史变迁》一书介绍,从社会、政治、经济等多方面的角度描述了位于泰国北部的国民党"孤军"流落与生存、形成华人族群的认同与建构以及在泰国文化的适应与信仰等,对于族群的认同与建构研究有一定的启迪意义。

Ethnic groups are a long - standing cultural phenomenon and a long - standing historical phenomenon. Ethnic iden- tity and construction are influenced by historical, cultural, political, economic, social and other factors. This paper describes the nationalist party＇s ＂solitary army＂ in northern Thailand from the aspects of social, political, economic and other aspects, through the introduction of Dr. Duan Ying＇s book ＂Formation, Adaptation and Historical Change of Ethnic Groups in the North of Thailand＂. The identity and construction of Chinese ethnic groups and the adaptation and belief of Thai culture, which has some enlightening significance for the study of ethnic identity and construction.
