With the rapid development of technology and economic ,the MPLS technology has been used in each field. Especially in railway communication network, the application of MPLS technology can improve the railway transport demand and service level, and make the railway communication network has higher expansibility and safety. Paper analyzes the application prospect and the status quo of MPLS technology in railwayengineering.
