This paper discusses the application of risk assessment technology in railway signal system.Firstly, the background of the paper is briefly introduced, and then the hazard identification and qualitative risk assessment of railway automatic blocking system are analyzed.For the former, including the introduction of the HAZOP method and the implementation of the HAZOP method.For the latter, it includes thre~ parts： system hazard identification, interface hazard identification, risk analysis and evaluation.
