21世纪,文化礼仪已经成为国家外交的一个重要组成部分。由于不同地区的人接受着不同的教育,他们有着不同的生活环境、不同的价值观和宗教信仰,从而导致各国的日常礼仪有所差异。了解不同国家的礼仪有利于深入了解国家文化,避免造成尴尬的局面,以便更好地促进国家之间的跨文化交际。旨在通过对比中美两国在常见交际礼仪、个人隐私、女性地位及称呼方面的不同,分析文化差异对两国交际的影响,探讨克服文化差异障碍的方法以及如何更好地掌握和运用相关的礼仪文化。

In the 21 st century,cultural etiquette has become an integral part of the entire foreign affairs of countries.People in different regions accept different styles of education.They have a wide range of living environments,values and religion beliefs which may lead to differences on the daily manners among nations.Being acknowledged of manners is beneficial for us to understand other countries' culture better and to avoid any embarrassment on any social occasions,so that it promotes cross-cultural communication further.This paper aims to make comparisons on aspects of etiquette in daily communication,personal questions,female status and appellation between China and America.It analyzes the influence of cultural differences and explores methods of overcoming the obstacles caused by cultural differences in order to learn how to comprehend and master the relevant etiquette cultures.
