Japanese illustration artist YumikoKayukawa is one of the representatives who combine east and west art into their works, her drawing style, which mingles Japan ukiyoe and modern western pop art, presents a mysterious animistic dream world. Through analyzing her drawing language, this paper discusses the collision and dialogue of art exchange between different cultures so as to give some enlightenment to the local illustration artists.
