基于图里规范翻译理论的沈阳市城市公示语翻译

Translation of Shenyang Public Signs Based on Toury's Translational Norms

随着中国国际化进程的加快,越来越多的外国人来到中国学习、工作、生活,而公示语作为一个国家和地区文明的标志,是一座城市的城市名片,也是外国人看中国的窗口,尽管中国公示语翻译已经取得长足进步,但就其发展现状而言,仍然令人感到担忧。沈阳市作为中国的国际化大都市之一,一直深受广大外国人的喜爱,但沈阳市城市公示语翻译中存在的各类错误,给外国人的衣食住行带来不便。综上考虑,笔者试从图里规范翻译理论的角度出发,分析沈阳市城市公示语翻译中的问题,并给出修改意见,旨在通过正确的城市公示语翻译,提高沈阳市的国际形象,使其成为一座全方位宜居宜业的国际化大都市。

With the internationalization of China, more and more foreigners begin to study, work, and live in here. Public signs as national and regional civilized symbol, it is not only a business card for the city, but also a window for the foreigners to know about China. Although the translation of Chinese public signs has made great progress, the current situation is still worrying. As one of the internationalized metropolis of China, Shenyang has always been welcomed by foreigners. However, various kinds of errors in the translation of public signs have brought inconvenience to foreigners＇ basic necessities of life in Shenyang. Therefore, the author tries to analyze the problems in translation of Shenyang public signs and gives revisions in the perspective of Toury＇s translational norms, so as to improve the international image of Shenyang and make her a cosmopolis in all domains.
