十八大以来,习近平总书记对于如何正确认识和科学对待中华优秀传统文化作出了一系列重要论述:中华优秀传统文化是中华民族的精神命脉和最深厚的文化软实力;厘清中华优秀传统文化的历史渊源、发展脉络,独特创造、价值理念,以增强文化自信和价值自信;从中华优秀传统文化中汲取营养和智慧,延续文化基因;坚持古为今用、以古鉴今,坚持有鉴别的对待、有扬弃的继承,努力实现创造性转化和创新性发展。习近平不仅系统地论述和形成了完整的马克思主义传统文化观,而且身体力行、活学活用,成为全党读典与用典的光辉典范。

Since the 18th CPA national congress, our General Secretary Xi has made a series of important statements on how to understand correctly and holding a scientific attitude on excellent Chinese traditional culture：the excellent Chinese traditional culture is the spiritual essence and the main soft power of the nation; Clarifying the historical origins, development thread, unique creativeness and core value of the excellent traditional Chinese culture is helpful to enhance our cultural and value confidence; we should draw nutrition and wisdom from the excellent Chinese tradition culture to continue our cultural gene; we should insist on making the past serve the present and using ancient ideas for today＇s reference, insist on discriminating treatment and discarding inheritance, and make effort to achieve creative transformation and innovative development. Xi Jinping has become the model of the whole Party not only with his systematical discussion and efforts on forming a complete Marxist concept of traditional culture, but also with his practices on what he preaches and his creative study and application.
