摘要
Way构式一般表征空间创路位移事件,是一种高能产的论元结构构式,可看作一个复杂范畴。本研究借鉴Langacker的范畴化网络分析框架和Talmy的运动事件概念框架,采用语料库方法,从历时演化视角分析way构式的语义扩展模式及其高能产性的认知理据。研究发现:1)way构式的图式构式义横向经历从空间域到时间域的隐喻原型性扩展;2)其实例构式的准入动词群在运动事件概念框架下经历纵向的转喻性扩展;3)范畴化网络分析框架可以将构式语义发展与动词准入机制有机结合,从而全面系统地解释way构式高能产性的问题。
The way-construction usually represents a motion event in space domain. It is one of the highly productive argument structure constructions, which can be studied as a complex category. Under Langacker' s Categorization Network framework and Talmy' s motion event concept framework, this paper analyses the diachronic semantic development of the way-construction and explores the internal cognitive motivations of its high productivity. The study findings are : 1 ) diachronically the way-construction semantics experiences a metaphoric extension process (from space to time domain) ; 2) verb groups sanctioned by the way-construction experiences a metonymic elaboration process under Talmy' s motion event concept framework; 3 ) Categorization Network framework can effectively unite constructional semantic extension and the expansion of verb groups, and consequently gives a systematic and an all-round explanation of this construction' s high productivity.
