沃尔特·惠特曼是美国19世纪最著名的民主诗人、坚定的资产阶级民主的拥护者和资产阶级斗士。自沃尔特·惠特曼的《草叶集》出版以来,国内外各文人学者从不同的角度对《草叶集》进行了不同的研究,但对其文学艺术阶级属性方面涉及得较少。发掘与填补此项不足,对深度理解沃尔特·惠特曼本人、全面诠释《草叶集》有积极的意义。在阶级社会中,文学艺术具有鲜明的阶级属性,此文试图从文学艺术阶级属性的角度出发,通过对沃尔特·惠特曼《草叶集》中经典诗作的赏析,从而得出沃尔特·惠特曼《草叶集》的阶级属性。

Walt·Whitman is one of the most famous American poets in the 19th century. He is an advo- cate of bourgeois democracy. Since Walt ＂Whitman＇s Leaves of Grass had been published, many domestic and foreign scholars had made research on it. It＇s significant to know more about Walt.Whitman and un- derstand Leaves of Grass deeply through making further research on the aspect of the literature art of class attribute. In class society, literature and art have distinctive class attribute. This paper tries to from the point of view of literature and art of the class attribute, through appreciating Walt ＂ Whitman＇s Leaves of Grass to obtain the class attribute of Walt ＂ Whitman＇s Leaves of Grass.
