碳纤维表面对复合材料界面和湿热性能的影响

摘要 为研究碳纤维表面物理和化学性能对碳纤维/环氧树脂复合材料界面性能的影响.选用了4种碳纤维,采用扫描电镜对纤维表面形貌进行观察,光电子能谱仪被用于分析表面元素和官能团的类型和数量,动态接触角测试用于表征碳纤维表面活化能.湿热处理前后的层间剪切强度被用于比较复合材料的界面性能.结果显示:碳纤维表面粗糙度、O/C比和活性碳原子比例以及表面能的提高,有助于提高碳纤维/环氧复合材料的界面性能和耐湿热性能. This paper focus on the influence of carbon fibers’ surface properties to CF reinforce epoxy composites properties. Four types of carbon fibers were used in this work. It used scanning electron microscopy to observe the surface morphology, XPS was used to analyze the type and proportion of the elements and functional groups on the fibers’ surface, and the dynamic contact angle measurement was used to characterize the surface activation energy.The inter laminar before and after hygrothermal treatments was chosen to compare the interfacial properties of CF/epoxy composites. The results show that the increasing of the surface roughness, the ratio of O/C and the proportion of active carbon atoms, the surface energy of carbon fibers improve the interfacial properties and hygrothermal resistances of CF/epoxy composites.
