In 1900, Qiu Fengjia and Huang Zunxian had a little argument on the Boxer Movement. They had ditterent opinions about how to treat the powers of aggression and the Qing government and the peasant uprising . This was an important debate inside reformists. Since then, they started to diverge, and Qiu Fengjia was gradually turning to the revolution. The Boxer Movement was an important factor of the reformists internal division.
