江门市区首次发现华丽巨蚊

Discovery of Toxorhynchites splendens for the first time in Jiangmen City

2016年6月上旬,于江门市某别墅花园内树下一清积水瓦缸容器中,采集到3只大型蚊幼虫,带回实验室,经鉴定,为蚊科巨蚊亚科巨蚊属华丽巨蚊,是江门市首次报道。华丽巨蚊是一种稀少蚊种,这次报道丰富了江门市媒介生物的本底资料。

In early June 2016,3 samples of large mosquito larvae were discovered and collected in a Jiangmen villa garden. According to the identification by experts, the mosquitoes were identified as T. Splendens which belonged to Culicidae Class, Toxorhyrwbitinae domain and Toxorhynchites family. T. Splendens was discovered for the first time in Jiangmen City, and T. Splendens was a rare species of Culicidae Class. The whole discovery enriched the basic material of biology in Jiangmen City.
