北洋政府时期北京地区的戏剧审查

Drama Censorship during the Period of Beiyang Government

1928年以前,通俗教育研究会和京师警察厅是北洋政府时期北京地区戏剧审查的两大主力,二者互相配合。通俗教育研究会制订的法规为其戏剧审查工作提供了依据。京师警察厅既配合通俗教育研究会,又直接从事戏剧审查的工作。除戏剧演出外,京师警察厅、通俗教育研究会等在剧本审查上也有所用力。

The public education seminar and the Beijing police department were in joint command of drama censorship be- fore 1928. The laws and regulations formulated by the public education seminar served as yardstick for the censorship. The Beijing police department carried out drama censoring both on its own and in assistance with the public education seminar.
