论纪蔚然戏剧中当代台湾社会的精神困境

On the Spiritual Predicament of Contemporary Taiwan Society in Chi Wei-Jan's Drama

纪蔚然的戏剧主要从三个层面由表及里地呈现了当代台湾社会图像及面临的精神困境:一是勾画台湾当代家庭关系、个人生活、社会政治与媒体文化中的种种乱象,表现当代台湾社会精神困境的外在症候;二是追踪台湾不同世系知识分子面对社会责任而产生的无力、幻灭、冷漠乃至困惑的心路历程,体现台湾精神困境的纠结难解;三是探讨台湾社会认同问题产生的三大原因:统"独"和族群意识导致的集体认同分裂、趋附西方强势文化的认同异化以及本土文化建构方向的认同迷惘,揭示认同的危机才是造成台湾社会精神困境的根本原因。

Chi Wei-Jan presents in his drama in three aspects the image of contemporary Taiwan society and the spiritual predicament that it is faced with. First, he portrays the chaos of contemporary Taiwan Residents family relationships, personal life, politics and media culture, revealing the external syndrome of the spiritual dilemma of contemporary Taiwan society. Secondly, his drama portrays the weakness, disillusionment, mentality of indifference and even confusion demonstrated by different line- age of Taiwan intellectuals in the face of social responsibility and commitment, reflecting the tangled predicament of Taiwan spirit. Lastly, his drama also discusses the primary causes of Taiwan social identity, bringing it to light that the identity crisis is the fundamental cause of the spiritual predicament of Taiwan society.
