人的发展作为马克思主义的总体性价值取向,既是对历史上优秀价值取向的继承与超越,是人类优秀价值取向的结晶,又蕴含着马克思主义的所有价值内涵,在马克思主义价值取向中具有统摄性的地位和作用。人的发展价值取向的总体性源于其历史观意蕴,即从根本上体现着人的行为及社会发展的合目的性,确立了社会进步的主体根据。人的发展价值取向的总体性启示我们:吸收人类的优秀价值是确立价值先进性的前提,当代马克思主义价值取向和社会主义核心价值观建设,应当充分吸收人类的优秀价值观念;是否有利于人的发展,是判断社会主义理论和现实问题是非曲直的根本价值尺度,人的发展价值取向是当代社会生活中各种价值排序的根本依据。

As the value orientation of the totality of Marxism,human development is not only the inheritance and transcendence of the excellent value orientations in history,but also the crystallization of the excellent value orientations of humankind. As it contains all the value connotations of Marxism,it occupies the governing status and plays the governing role in the value orientation of Marxism. The totality of the value orientation of human development is originated from the implication of its historical view,which embodies the purposiveness of human behavior and social development from its roots and establishes the subjective basis for social progress. The totality of the value orientation of human development tells us that the value orientation of contemporary Marxism and the construction of socialist core values should fully absorbs humankind＇s excellent values. Whether it is conducive to human development is the fundamental yardstick of value to judge the merits and demerits of the theory of socialism and the realistic problems.
