The key to the Sichuan -Shanxi Soviet area＇s establishment, development and growth in a short period of time, was the victories in the war of liberation gained by the Red Fourth Army. The courageous and skillful Red Fourth Army in battle benefited a lot from its effective ideological and political education work. Since its coming into Sichuan, the Red Fourth Army has continuously carfled out, adjusted and improved the army＇s ideological and political education work according to the central tasks in different times, which has provided strong guarantee to the victories of the military struggle.
