Experiencing the academic transition from traditional paradigm to the modern one, Chen Yinke made some profound summary and reflections on the way to academic and cultural integration by illustrating the tradition and accommodating the new knowledge. He resorted to the attitude, orientation, method and approach of Chinese ancient academic integration and their influence on the later times, and pointed out that modern Chinese academic integration should take the way of both adsorbing the new knowledge and sticking to Chinese tradition.
