学界派别、权力政治与近代中国私立大学的资源获取——以私立南开大学与中华教育文化基金董事会的互动为例(1924-1931)

Academic Faction,Realpolitik and Resource Acquisition of Modern Private University In China——Based on the Interaction of Private Nankai University and the Board of Directors of China Foundation for the Promotion of Education and Culture

办学资源是近代中国私立大学的"生命线"。为获取办学资源,私立南开大学校长张伯苓加强了与中华教育文化基金董事会之间的互动。在争取资助的过程中,除自身办学水准外,学界派别、权力政治对办学资源的获取有着重要影响。私立南开大学虽属个案,但它反映了在特殊背景之下,学界派别、权力政治事实上成为左右近代中国私立大学资源获取的重要因素,近代中国私立大学的资源获取实属艰辛和不易。

Resources for school-running is the ＂lifeline＂ of the modern private university In China. To get resources for school-running, Zhang Boling strengthened the interaction with the Board of Directors of China Foundation for the Promotion of Education and Culture. In the process of striving for the funds, besides its own level of school-running, the academic factions and realpolitik also had influence on the acquisition of resources. Although the pri- vate Nankai University was only an individual case, it showed that the academic factions and realpolitik had become important factors deciding the resource acquisition of modern private universities, which revealed the difficulties in resource acquisition.
