Different technological stages have different technology characteristics, so the structure of valuable patents is not fixed in patent citation network. Most of the previous patent value research only considers patent static indicators and rarely focus on the different factors that influence patent value in different technological stages. Therefore, the author attempts to examine whether patent dynamic indicators can influence patent value in different technological stages. The author chooses patent litigation as the proxy variable of patent value, a logistic regression model is built to explore whether out-degree centrality, in-degree centrality and effective size can result different influence on patent value in different technological stages. The empirical result demonstrates that out-de- gree centrality, in-degree centrality and effective size do not have significant influence on patent value in the early stages, and out-degree centrality, in-degree centrality have significant positive influence on patent value in the mature stages. This study also demonstrates that these variables have different effect on patent value in the different technology fields. These analytical results will help companies to carry on reasonable LED patent layout relaying on different technological
