锐棱砸击法是旧石器时代出现并延续到新石器时代的一种比较特殊的打片技术,使用这种方法打下的石片和使用其他方法打取的石片明显不同。本文对广西地区锐棱砸击石片的发现和分布及其功能和用途等方面进行初步的研究,并对中国锐棱砸击石片的分布、年代以及锐棱砸击石片的制作技术等其他相关问题进行探讨。

Ruilengzaji, or known as ridge-hammered bipolar flak, is a special flaking method which originated in the Paleolithic age and existed to the Neolithic age. Flakes detached by the method are distinctively different from those made by other techniques. This paper deals with Ruilengzaji flakes from Guangxi in terms of its discovery, distribution and function. Other related issues such as the distribution of Ruilengzaji flakes in China, their ages and the manufatufing technique are discussed.
