国际视野下指数研究与实践的进展、动向与挑战

International Progress,Trends,and Challenges of Index Number Research and Practice

指数是国际统计学界和经济学界一个非常活跃的研究领域,近年来指数理论研究和编制实践取得了很大的进展。本文首先介绍了国际上指数研究的近况,总结了指数领域国际统计标准的进展。其次,从指数构建方法、基本价格指数计算方法、链式指数、最佳指数、Hedonic质量调整方法、大数据应用于价格指数的编制等方面分析了国际上指数理论与实践的动向。指数理论与实践还面临巨大的挑战,包括价格指数编制中的质量调整和大数据应用、房地产价格指数编制与CPI中自有住房的处理、季节性产品的处理、服务价格指数的编制等。最后,本文得出了一些富有启发性的结论。

The index number research is very active in international statistical and economic community. In recent years,great progress has been made in theoretical research and compilation practice of index number.This paper describes the status of international research of index number,and summarizes the progress of international statistical standards in index number area. Secondly,this paper analyzes the international trends of research and practice in index number,including：index number construction method,elementary price index calculation method,chained index,superlative index,hedonic quality adjustment method,and big data used in price index compilation. The theory and practice of index number still face enormous challenges,including：quality adjustment in price index compilation,the application of big data in price index compilation,real estate price index compilation and treatment of owner-occupied housing in the CPI,treatment of seasonal products,and service price index compilation. Finally,this paper draws some enlightening conclusions.
