标话中中古汉语借词精组字的读音

The Phonetic Features of Loanwords in the Biao Language Borrowed from the Words of the “jing” Initial Groups in Middle Chinese

怀集永固和诗洞标话中中古汉语借词精心邪母读擦音[θ],清母读塞音[th],与侗语、壮语汉语借词以及两广交界处一些汉语方言精组字的读音有相似之处。文章认为怀集标话汉语借词最早来源于两广交界处古苍梧郡的汉语方言。

Chinese loanwords in Biao with the ＂jing＂ （精）, ＂xin＂ （心） and ＂xie＂ （邪） initials are pronounced as/θ/, while those with the ＂qing ＂ （清） Initial are pronounced as/th/. These phonetic features are similar to those in the Kam and Zhuang languages and the Chinese dialects in the areas bordering Guangdong and Guangxi provinces. This paper argues that the loanwords in Biao have originated from the Chinese dialects in the ancient Cangwu Prefecture in the border areas of the two provinces.
