摘要
语法隐喻在学术语篇中具有多方面的语义功能,其中,客观性语义功能尤为常见。目前,对这一功能产生的语言学机理尚缺乏系统的理论探讨。本文的目的是以功能语言学理论为框架,从句法和语义两方面对此予以论证。在句法方面分析客观性语义功能的实现手段,同时在语义方面分析人际意义之交互意义和个人意义如何得以丧失或削弱,从而达到客观性语义功能的目的。
Semantic functions of grammatical metaphors in academic discourse are many-fold,of which the function of objectivity is one of the mostly observed.However,the mechanisms of how this type of semantic function is realized have not been systematically analyzed so far.This paper aims to address this issue within the framework of the theory of SFL,analyzing the grammatical resources and the logico-semantic motifs of interpersonal meanings concerned,and examining how the interpersonal meanings of interactive and personal ones are reduced so as to effect the function of objectivity in academic discourse.
