The Idea of Divine Right of Kings in “Historical Records”:Questioning and Satirizing

文章分析《史记》中反对君权神授的表现,一方面,直接对君权神授理论发起冲击,正面质问和驳斥,或是就某一不合理的事件发出自己的疑问;另一方面,则是从侧面说明君权神授的滑稽和虚妄,揭露天命和异象的人为成分和统治者的阴暗面,并表现未受天命的小人物对历史的推动作用,从而对天命的公正性提出质疑。

The idea of divine right of kings in ＂Historical Records＂ is analyzed. On the one hand, the theory of the king＇s divine right is challenged, that is, some irrational events are questioned. On the other hand, the funniness and absurdity are pointed out. Men with destiny and anomalies and the dark side of the rulers are disclosed. Ordinary people with no destiny have the power to advance the history and hence whether the idea of destiny is sound is challenged.
