摘要
将"文明社群"分成社会领域的地位、文明性的属性和政治影响力三个构成维度,对三个民间庙宇进行考察表明:民间信仰是一种非政府的民间活动,但也不同程度地被国家权力渗透,且民间信仰组织的非营利性特征随国家权力介入越深而越突出;民间信仰不能为内部公共事务提供实践平台,但能为外部公共事务提供一些参与机会,但也有赖于国家权力的干预;民间信仰在培育公民道德方面十分乏力,也很难生产有政策影响的公共舆论,但民间信仰的存在事实可以对各级政府产生重要影响。调查结果显示出我国民间信仰构成文明社群的程度较低。
"Civil society" is three -dimensional: status in social field, civility and political impact, which can be applied into the analysis of the three folk temples. The case studies show that: popular religion is a kind of non - governmental activity, but it is intervened with state power to some extent. And the deeper the intervention of the state power is, the more prominent the non - profit characteristic of popular religion is. Popular religion cannot provide a practice platform for internal public affairs, but it can provide .a chance for external public affairs, which depends on the intervention of state power. Popular religion is very weak in cultivating civil morality and can hardly provide public opinions which can exert impact on state policy mak- ing. But the existence of popular religion can exert great influence on governments at all levels GenerallYspeaking, the civility degree of civil society is quite low.
