摘要
旅游就其本质而言是一种文化现象,本身就是一个符号系统,所以符号学也应是旅游研究的方法论。在笔者看来,旅游的本质是文化交流。在这种交流过程中,符号作为一种象征形式,广泛存在于旅游活动之中。所以,用符号学对旅游进行研究,系统地探讨旅游活动中的符号现象,是一个全新的课题。符号表征着旅游客体,担当着旅游跨文化交流的载体。旅游之所以具有强烈的吸引力和号召力,很大程度上在于此。
Essentially, tourism is a cuhural phenomenon and a symbol system as well. Therefore, semiotics should also be methodology for tourism research. The author thinks that the essence of tourism is cultural exchange in which symbolism is widespread in various tourism activities. It is a new topic to study tourism and systematically explore the symbol!c phenomenon in tourism activities in the perspective of semiotics. The reason why tourism has a strong attraction and appeal, to a large extent, lies in the fact that the symbolic significance of tourism itself repre- sents the object of tourism and acts as the carrier in the cross - cultural exchange of tourism.
