蒋一谈的小说带有显著的"先锋性"特质。短篇小说《透明》的先锋性特质体现在不动声色的颠覆。首先对女性话语的颠覆,其次对男性话语成规的颠覆。小说的题目叫"透明",小说的主题恰恰是模糊的,"透明"只能是主人公心中一厢情愿的理想和愿望。所谓明晰的时代精神,在本篇小说的三个人物身上是难以归纳出来的。
