英文词汇文化内涵的理解与翻译较难,原因在于语言习惯、文化习俗、民族风情等的差异,充分了解作者背后的社会背景以及所蕴藏的文化内涵,才能正确的翻译出作者的隐含思想,并通过词汇来描绘出英文文化当中的精华所在。根据文化差异,改革英语词汇文化教学的方法,实现两种语言的有效对接。

The reason why it＇s more difficult to understand and translate cultural connotation of English vocabulary is that the differences exist in language habits, cultural customs, ethnic customs and so on. If one wants to translate the author＇s implied meaning and describe the essence of English culture, it＇s necessary for him to fully understand the social background behind the author as well as to know the conveyed cultural connotation. Accordingly, teaching methods in terms of vocabulary culture need to changed to realize effective docking of the two languages.
