On the Development of Critical Thinking in Teaching College English Writing

大学英语写作教学融入思辨力培养极为重要。在批判性思维理论发展的基础上,运用批判性思维模型理论,把思辨力培养与大学英语写作教学有机融合。通过思辨力的培养,学生在写作态度上产生积极的变化,语言能力方面也有了提高。

The paper studies how to incorporate critical thinking skills development into the teaching of college English writing. Based on the review of relevant research on the theories of critical thinking, the paper explores the possibility for infusing the cultivation of students＇ critical thinking skills into the teaching of college English writing. The study shows the students adopt a more positive attitude towards writing and acquire language proficiency improvement through the development of critical thinking ability.
