摘要
针对SWS实施周期长但能满足企业用户个性化需求、SaaS能快速上线却是通用模式的特点,构建SWS定制化软件与SaaS标准化软件两阶段竞争模型,运用比较静态分析方法研究不同市场结构下,参变量变化对SWS与SaaS均衡价格、SaaS标准化软件种类及SWS定制化软件实施周期的影响。研究发现:SaaS与SWS能实现共存,双方可实现价格竞争的均衡状态或者局部垄断的市场格局;SaaS最优标准化软件种类数取决于具体的均衡市场结构;当企业用户的保留效用较低时,SWS的产品定价、市场份额和边际利润比SaaS要高;此外,当企业用户对SaaS的不适程度比较敏感时,SWS会缩短软件的实施周期。研究结论对于引导新兴SaaS模式步入软件市场良性循环轨道具有重要的理论指导意义。
This paper considers the characteristic of the longer implementation period of SWS which can meet the preference of enterprise customer exactly,and the nature that the application can be available from SaaS quickly,but which is only ageneric model.We develop a two-stage game model to analyze the competition between the custom software of SWS and the standard software of SaaS,and present comparative statics analysis to show how the parameters influence the equilibrium prices,the varieties of standard software and the implementation period of custom software in different market structures.The results show that:SaaS vendors and SWS vendors can coexist in equilibrium;both firms can either share the software market as local monopolists or in price competition equilibrium;the varieties of standard software provided by SaaS vendors depend on the equilibrium outcome.Besides,when the reservation utility of the enterprise customer is low,the price,the market share and the margin of SWS are higher than SaaS.In addition,the increased consumer sensitivity to SaaS unfit may result in shorter implementation period for SWS.The above results are significant in guiding the sound development of SaaS in practice.
