By gathering the works by 20 most influential contemporary video artists, the art show of ＂Beyond Image. Laboratory of Light, 1 Sanguandian Art 2015＂ comprehensively evaluates the development of Chinese contemporary video art and examines the existing problems in depth. This article, with the concrete contents of the show as a foundation, is aimed at redefining the concept of Chinese contemporary video art, discussing its connotation, evolvement and public relations, and rethinking about the rational development of video art.
