黄楚九(1872-1931年),又名黄承乾,字磋玖,浙江余姚人。是上世纪初上海实业界的著名人物。现存《丹方集异》为黄楚九主编之医药广告手册。然全书四卷,涉及内、外、儿科以及急救,内容实用,具有较高的医学价值;同时,书中包含了黄氏生前的一些个人信息,对准确了解黄楚九生平有重要意义。

HUANG Chu-jiu（1872-1931 ）, also named as HUANG Chen-qian with pen-name of Cuo-jiu, was born in Yuyao, Zhejiang Province. He was a famous celebrity in the field of industry during early 1900s in Shanghai. Dan Fang Ji Yi was kept currently as a commercial handbook while HUANG was editor in chief. In this book, there have been 4 volumes covering internal medicine, surgery, pediatric and emergency. Its contents owns high medical value of clinical practices. Also, this book includes some personnel information of HUANG, which is vital to learn about his lifetime.
