穿越沧海 光照天宇——听原创歌剧《鉴真东渡》国内首演

Bringing enlightenment to another coast:On the China premiere of the original opera Monk Jianzhen's Eastward Journey

江苏省演艺集团最新制作的原创歌剧《鉴真东渡》,新年前夕在东京世界首演,新春伊始在北京国内首演。前辈声乐教育家郭淑珍、中国音协主席叶小钢、著名歌剧理论家居其宏与作曲家王祖皆、张卓娅、郝维亚等2月6日前往国家大剧院,同现场观众一起观看农历鸡年的开台大戏。

Monk Jianzhen's Eastward Journey,produced by the Jiangsu Performing Arts Group,received its world premiere in Tokyo late last year.The China premiere of the work took place earlier this year.More than 1200 years ago,Jianzhen brought his disciples from Yangzhou to Japan to disseminate Buddhist teachings.Some 1200 years later,the opera returned to Yangzhou.
