During the equipment purchase supervision for Shenhua Ningxia 4 million tons/ year indirect coal liquefaction project, the manufacturing supervisors from Jilin MengXi Engineering Management Co. Ltd, found out that expired welding material was used by a pipe fittings factory. Correction upon suspension would clash with the tight delivery time. Neither the client nor the manufacturer accepted work suspension raised by the supervising engineers. The supervisors then collected substantial evidence and analyzed the hidden dangers to the owner. Through thorough discussions and coordination among all sides, the suspension for correction request was accepted at last. Thus the quality of the equipment and materials are guaranteed.
