摘要
淬硬钢为典型难加工模具材料,其加工过程中受强热力耦合载荷作用,易导致刀具磨破损,进而降低模具加工表面质量。为了提高工件加工表面质量和刀具寿命,对带圆角圆弧头铣刀的设计进行了研究。首先,结合球头立铣刀和平底圆角立铣刀切削特性,提出了一种适用于大型淬硬钢模具加工的带圆角圆弧头铣刀。其次,对带圆角圆弧头铣刀几何特征进行定义,建立了铣刀轮廓面数学模型,推导了螺旋切削刃参数方程。最后,通过仿真、刀具磨削试验和检测中心对所设计的带圆角圆弧头铣刀进行了检验。检验结果表明:带圆角圆弧头铣刀的刀具直径、圆角半径、圆弧头半径、刃形的磨削精度误差范围在±0.001 mm以内,螺旋角、前角和后角的磨削精度误差范围在±0.05°以内,为刀具的推广应用提供了技术保障。
Hardened steel is typically low-machinability mold material, strong thermal and mechanical loadingin the processing process, lead to cutter wear and breakage, and reduce the mold machining surface quality. In or-der to improve the machining surface quality and cutter life, studied the design of torus end milling cutter with cir-cular comer. Firstly, combined with the ball endmillingcutter and annular cutter cutting property , proposing akind of applicable to large hardened steel mold machining with torus end milling cutter with circular comer. Sec-ondly, toms end milling cutter with circular comer geometrical features are defined, establish mathematical modelof milling cutter contour surface, which is derived from the helix edge parameter equation. Finally, torus end mill-ing cutter with circular comer is tested by simulation, cutter grinding experiment and test center, the result showthat cutter diameter, fillet radius, radius of cutter with circular comer design, cutting edge grinding accuracy errorrange of the cutter in the range of +0. 001 mm, and the error range of the grinding error is within +0. 05, providetechnical support for the popularization and application of cutter.
