地方高校根植于地方,与区域经济文化发展之间有着紧密相连的关系。地方高校面对新形势和时代要求,应当充分发挥自身优势,不断提升服务能力和水平。通过建立区域文化研究机构,进行科研立项或课程开发,通过教学传承区域文化;或举办学术会议,推进区域文化传播;或提供实践机会,鼓励师生进行创新研究等途径,为培养区域文化人才、推进区域经济文化发展作出贡献。
