五四时期“职教救国”思想新评

On the ideology of saving the nation by vocational education during the period of the May 4th

五四时期,职教社提出了“职业教育救国”的思想。它的内涵是动员社会力量发展教育;促进教育和社会生产力相结合,使教育为经济建设服务;在教育教学中培养学生的民族意识和民主精神,以促进反帝反封建的工作。这些思想都有明显的进步作用。

During the period of the May 4th,the Chinese Vocational Education Society proposed the ideology of saving the nation by the vocational education.It covers the following aspects:arousing social force in order to develop the education;promoting the combination between the education and the productive force and giving the educational service to the economy;developing the students′national consciousness and democratic consciousness in teaching for anti imperialism and anti feudalism.These ideas are progressive.
