Based on the opportunity of accelerating the economic and social development of ethnic autonomous regions, the paper makes use of the abundant basic geographic information data, geographical conditions survey data and relevant special data to compile the township maps of ethnic minority areas, and illustrates the innovation of the topic selection, map design and decoration. It provides references for the compilation of other township maps and the development of county - level atlases.
