The author analyzes the Islamic charity from cultural dimension, and divides the Islamic charity culture into artifacts, mentality, behavior and system. Then the author explores the essence of Islamic charity culture from three dimensions-- being for the benefit of oneself, others and all. ＂Being for the benefit of oneself＂ is the motivation of Islamic charity ; ＂Being for the benefit of others＂ is the essence of Islamic charity ; ＂Being for the benefit of all＂ is the orientation of Islamic charity. The three aspects help understand Islamic charity culture.
