先秦儒家与墨家节俭观的比较分析

Comparative Study on the pre-Qin Thrift Concept of Confucianism and Mohism

节俭是先秦儒家、墨家的共同主张,但两家的出发点不同。儒家从修养和节用爱民的角度出发,墨家从节用和利民的角度出发。虽然出发点不同,但殊途同归,都看到了节俭对个人和社会带来的好处。当代社会仍然需要倡导这种节俭观,以期带来个人品德的升华、心灵的舒适、社会的稳定和可持续发展。

The frugality is a common proposition of The pre-Qin Confucianism and Mohism, but both factions have different starting points. Confucianism starts from personal accomplishment and thrift to love the people, and Mohism starts from thrift and benefit to the people. Although the starting point is different, they have a common thing that they both have seen the benefits of thrift to individuals and society. The contemporary society still needs to promote this concept of thrift in order to bring the sublimation of personal morality, spiritual comfort, social stability and sustainable development.
