模因论视角下的汉语式英文词汇及中国英语研究

Chinese Type English Vocabulary and China English from the Perspective of Memetics

从古至今,出现过大量的汉语式英文词汇,这些词汇反映了中国特色的事物,非常具有代表性,也逐渐被收录到了英文词汇中。本文将从模因论的视角,分析这些汉语式英文词汇得以长存不消的原因。同时,也正是由于这些汉语式英文词汇的大量繁衍,一些学者提出了中国英语——一种中国化的英语变体这一概念。作者认为所谓的中国英语,只不过是汉语式英文词汇模因的发展,目前还不能成为一种独立的国别英语存在。

There have been a lot of English words of Chinese style, reflecting Chinese characteristics and being very representative, and they were gradually included in the English vocabulary. This article analyzes the existence of these Chinese type English vocabulary from the the perspective of memetics. At the same time, due to prosperity of these Chinese type English vocabulary, some scholars put forward the concept of China English--English varieties of Chinese style. The authors argue that the so-called Chinese English is just the development of the memes of English vocabulary of Chinese style, not an independent English type currently.
