A Study on the Development of India and Vietnam's Economic Relationship since 21st Century

进入21世纪以来,由于印度和越南之间的政治关系更加密切,两国经济合作保持快速增长,两国的商品贸易获得了高速增长,贸易结构发生明显变化,双方在彼此对外贸易中的地位提高,印度对越南的直接投资有所增加。但是,两国商品贸易不平衡,印度对越南的直接投资及发展援助不多,两国经济关系主要表现为贸易关系。印度与越南经济关系的发展对中国产生了一定影响。

Since 21st century, due to the closer political relations between India and Vietnam, and rapid economic growth of both countries, merchandise trade between India and Vietnam has grown very quickly, their trade structure has obviously changed, the role of India and Vietnam in each other＇ s foreign trade has risen, India has increased its direct investment in Vietnam. However, a goods trade between India and Vietnam is imbalanced, Indian direct investment in Vietnam only has small amount, with less Indian official development assistance to Vietnam, their economic relations mainly are trade relations. The development of India and Vietnam＇s economic relations has had some influence on China.
