PRESSoo从0.1到1.2版的发展历程研究

Developing Course of PRESSoo from Version 0.1 to Version 1.2

PRESSoo是针对连续性资源创建的面向对象概念模型,是FRBRoo的扩展。PRESSoo的显著贡献是对连续性资源的13种情况分别建立了相应的模型。这些精细化的模型能够充分揭示连续性资源的信息,能适应连续性资源动态变化的特点,并且适合于使用计算机处理。在历时3年的开发中,PRESSoo经历了从0.1版到1.2版的发展历程。在两次重大评议后,PRESSoo获得了广泛的认可。目前,PRESSoo已由ISSN国际中心应用到ROAD项目。随着PRESSoo被IFLA编目部接管,其发展前景将更加美好。

PRESSoo is a conceptual model created for continuing resources, and it is an extension of FRBRoo. The significant contribution of PRESSoo is that it respectively created corresponding models according to 13 kinds of continuing resources circumstances. The detailed models can sufficiently reveal the continuing resources information, and are suitable for dynamic changing characteristics of continuing resources and computer processing. During these three years,＇PRESSoo went through from version 0.1 to version 1.2 in 3-year development. PRESSoo earned widespread recognition after two important assessments. Now it is applied to ROAD by ISSN International Center. PRESSoo will obtain a better future after IFLA Cataloguing Section taking over it.
