A Review of Heat Pipe Visualization Methods

摘要 热管利用工质的相变进行传热,传热传质过程复杂,传统的理论和实验研究方法难以全面揭示其热质传递机理,因此热管内部工质两相流动和相变传热现象的可视化方法变得十分重要。本文介绍了CFD模拟方法、利用透明材质观测和透视成像观测等可视化方法的基本原理和实现方式,综合热管可视化研究进展,重点阐述了透明材质热管可视化技术,评述了现有方法在定量研究方面的不足,提出了改进热管可视化研究的建议。 Heat pipe is an efficient heat transfer device by means of the phase transition of the working fluid. Due to the complex heat and mass transfer inside,it is difficult to fully disclose its heat and mass transfer mechanism by traditional theoretical or experimental research methods. The visualization method,which can be used to directly observe the phenomenon of two-phase flow and phase change heat transfer of the working fluid inside heat pipe,becomes an important approach to provide insights into the heat pipe. The basic principle and implementation mode of visualization methods such as CFD( Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation,experimental imaging method using the transparent material and transparent rendering are described. The new heat pipe visualization methods are reviewed,with an emphasis on those experimental visualization technologies using the transparent material heat pipe.Also,the quantification limitations and challenges in the existing visualization methods are summarized. In the end,the future main research areas and potential development of heat pipe visualization research are presented.
