基于奈达对等理论的字幕翻译研究

The Research on Subtitle Translation Based on Nida's Equivalence Translation Theory

奈达的翻译理论为翻译提供了一种指导思想,通适于许多不同领域的翻译之中。字幕翻译不同于一般的翻译文本,它涉及音频和视频的兼容性,这种兼容性在翻译的转换中需要加以体现,而这种体现将语言、听觉和视觉的审美体验融为一体,即译语需体现出美的享受。基于语言的几个层面,探讨了字幕翻译中译语所需达到的美学对等,并分析了不同类型电影字幕翻译中与之相适应的美学对等的指向性。

Nida＇s translation theory provides guidance for translation practice in many different fields of translation. Unlike the common translation texts, subtitle translation refers to the compatibility of audio and video, which needs showing in the process of translating. In other words, the aesthetic feelings should be exposed to the audience by means of the target language of subtitle translation in combination with aesthetic experiences of audio and video. Based on the several levels of language, this paper dis- cusses the aesthetic equivalence between the source language and the target language in subtitle trans- lation and analyzes the directionality for adjusting different aesthetical equivalences at different types of movies.
