Aiming to paint the defects of machine part, some methods including adding aluminum particles to commercial conductive putty or adhesive and adding acetone to coating composition were tried to fill the defects but unworkable. Through tests it was found that using powder coating as putty can meet the requirement of electrostatic spraying. The operational procedure and some points needing attentions were introduced.
