Study on The Spoken English Fossilization for English Majors

口语石化现象是外语学习中常见的现象,它严重阻碍了第二语言学习者外语水平的提高。为此国内外学者进行了大量研究,也取得了一定成果,但还存在不足,尤其是对口语石化的研究多停留在理论阶段。该文通过实证研究,分析了英语专业学生英语口语石化的原因并提出相应的解决方案。

Language fossilization is a common phenomenon in foreign language learning which has been a serious impediment in improving one＇s second-language level. To solve this problem, many scholars at home and abroad study it and has made some achievements, but there still exists some insufficient. Especially for oral English fossilization research, most study stays in the realm of theory. This study tries to analyze the causes of oral English fossilization and propose appropriate solutions.
